National Institute of Technology Patna is the 18th National Institute of Technology created by the Ministry of H.R.D. Government of India after rechristening the erstwhile Bihar College of Engineering Patna on 28. 01. 2004. The institute has highly qualified faculty of higher calibre in various disciplines. Institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech & Ph.D. programmes in respective field of Engineering, Sciences and Technology with well-equipped laboratories.

The department of Computer Science and Engineering offers B.Tech (CSE), M.Tech ,and Ph.D. programs in various computer science related subjects. The department has a very good infrastructure and faculty to provide excellent education. The department provides a wide range of courses. The prominent among them includes Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, System Programming, Computer Networks, Data Mining and Warehousing, Distributed and Parallel Computing, Mobile and Wireless Computing, Real-time Systems, Cryptography, Genetic Algorithm and Artificial Intelligence. Apart from these, students are also offered a wide variety of electives.

The third international conference on “ Security, Privacy and Data Analytics (ISPDA-2024)” is scheduled to be held during December 13-15, 2024 at NIT Patna (Bihar) India. The objective of this conference is to bring together experts from academic institutions, industries and research organizations and professional engineers for sharing of knowledge, expertise and experience in the emerging trends related to Security, Privacy, and Data Analytics. The conference is structured as plenary and keynote speeches followed by parallel sessions. The keynote speeches will be delivered by eminent personalities at the international level invited to introduce the theme of the conference. Papers are invited from the prospective authors from industries, academic institutions, R&D organizations and from professional engineers belonging to the engineering disciplines.
